i told my mum about my ex(s). haha. no la, only weiyang. the rest didn't say. i can't believe i told her!!! and i think my dad knows cuz i think he MUST'VE BEEN LISTENING from the living room!
actually we were just discussing about relationships and boyfriends. haha. i told them i will not be having the intention of getting one any time soon. my mum especially was telling me all those things to avoid such as sex... married men... blah blah blah. u don't really have to know. they are just the usual lectures parents give to their kids.
but what surprised me the most was that she suggested that if i have a bf, i can bring him home to meet them. LIKE, WHAAAAT?? really didn't expect to hear that. i've always thought that they will only let me date when i am a rotting old woman. haha.
they said that they would want to have a son-in-law who can make me happy, support me till we crumple hand-in-hand and can mix around well especially with my relatives and family members. so i told them not to worry cuz i only like intelligent guys. haha. i don't know why but well educated, intelligent and english speaking guys seems VERY attractive to me. hoho.
if u ask me what kinda guy i am attracted to, i guess i can't really tell. because as time pass, i meet different kinds of people, the expectations in the opposite sex changes once or twice.
like, i've always love guys who can play the piano/drums/guitar. or can sing. but i guess now i like guys who can dance. or draw. or into poems and literature or arts. AND PHOTOGRAPHY.
someone who is sporty. not all muscle packed [PLEASE NOO] but toned would be nice. who has a smile which can melt my heart and brighten my day. a pair of eyes for me to sink into. can ride the bicycle and fetch me home. a personality which can blend in well with my friends and love ones so it will not always be just me and him, him and i. we can go for family gatherings or hang out with my friends. i wouldn't mind mixing with his friends and love ones too. someone who is around 2-5 years older. a height made easy to lean on his shoulder. very comfortable to be with him. can make me laugh. tanned? and yes. BRAINS too. haha
but then again, i'll never know. i might end up liking someone who doesn't meet everything and i'll still love him with all my heart.
yupyup. but not going to think about it in the near future.

this morning as i about to go to the hospital, i saw an auntie working out in the senior workout area. she was violently using this equipment which has 2 handles. u have to hold one handle in one hand and pull one down. so if ur right hand pulls, ur left hand goes up. if ur left pulls, ur right goes up. its like a... pulley. well, i'm not sure if i've confused u but.. yeah, at least i'm trying. heh.
anyway, i was so scared she would jerk off her shoulder judging from the way she pulled it. i stopped, debating with myself if i should go over and advise her the right way of using the equipment. one side of me wanted to tell her so much while the other was holding back, perhaps from the fear of being embarrassed if she doesn't heed my advice or even worse, ignore me. *shrugs*
but somehow i found myself making my way towards her and stood in front of her. i HAVE to say something, i thought. i mean i can't just stand there and stare at her, right? and she was looking at me expecting me to tell her something. so i just advised her and after seeing that she nod her head, i went off.
from a distance, i observed her for a minute. she seemed to be doing the same thing and i thought to myself, i told u so. then i started to notice that she was using lesser strength as compared to before soo.. great!
okay, u might have wondered why i wrote such a long-winded "essay" about a silly thing like this. or maybe u've probably just dozed off or diverted ur attention to something else. but anyway, the reason is that i was pondering if it was the holy spirit which urged me forward or was it just pure impulse? come to think about it, i really wonder when and how will God be talking to me as He has done so to some people. was it something they heard as they pray? was it some kinda signs which they saw? or was it through a dream which He has communicated with them?
but nevertheless, i'll wait faithfully for Him because i believe that there will come a day when i'll fully know that He isREAL. i want to commit to the first commandment without any doubts! (:

went to Singapore Health Promotion Board with bibi, sam, kin lai, hayati, yin ting and Grace. me, sam, bibi and kin lai got posted to Rulang Pri Sch which is in BOON LAY!!! its like sooo far. especially for sam since she is living in pasir ris and its really from one end to another end of the MRT line for her. haha
well, the kids are very cute. BUT NOISY TOO! nevertheless, i had fun with a few of them. tmr will be the real deal for us cuz today we just walked around observing how the nurses do their job.
we ate in the canteen and it was SO CHEAP! like, 20-80cents food and drinks. I MISS MY PRI AND SEC SCHOOL DAYS! i miss having my own desk in a fixed classroom regret not treasuring those moments. now i can't think of a time when i will get this kinda luxury any more. so sad! and i miss my former classmates! even the pesky ones like Kar Long and Jun Wei!! feel like having a class gathering for my Pri 1, Pri 3, Pri 5, Sec 1, Sec 3 classmates! even my kindergarten ones too! [if i can remember ALL of them. haha. but i confirm will remember JOYS, my former neighbour, former kindergarten buddy, former best friend. lost contact since the day she moved house, BOO HOO! joys Joys JOYS! i must find u one day, some how! i miss u sooo much. i think she must be in a very good school now. she has always been so clever.] and all my childhood friends. like my child care buddies. but its so sad. all proceeding on with their own life.

drop by Zeee's blog and i saw this! FREAKSHOW! they are sooooo flexible! like what zeee said, it would be really nice to be able to do just about anything if ur body can twist and turn all ways. and it will be soundless and graceful. also, they did many pirouettes and jetes! pirouettes are having their feet touch their face when they turn and their jetes are a little over-split! goshhhh..

Clinical attachment has gone by for a week now. me and my classmates are posted to surgical wards where we nurse wounded patients and to help them in their pre-operation and post-operation. so far it had been going smoothly. Last night i did a little longer prayer to God. i told him about the patients i saw and i know He will bless them with a painless recovery. anyway, i really like this old granny from my cubical. she is soooo cute! hahaha she has no teeth so when she eats, it looks so funny. a lot of nurses like her too. sadly, she is warded for a fall which caused her to break her NOF - Neck Of Femur. so now she is bedridden. i remembered when i first saw her. she kept reaching out her hand to me and asking me to bring her for a walk. her maid said that she is not in the habit of sitting around all day, doing nothing. so sad!
anyway, i got incredibly bored today till the point i can't believe i went to do this.
enjoy while u can! this doesn't happen often.
yes, its called "teddy's fate" and... its a little sadistic, i know. *nods and shrugs*
haha. i got to admit my monk and teddy bear are cute. *flashes teeth*
alrights! that's all for my randomness.

went to sam's church today. (: so fun. haha. i get to know many of her friends and she was like jamming my mind with all their names at the same time. service at her church is great too. (: i think her church friends are very bonded together. all warm and friendly to new comers. everyone had been great today especially people like, May, Matthew, Jeremy, Guan Ying, Ben Wu, Jia Hao and of cuz Samantha that beloh. haha. so far i played with them foos-ball[not sure of the spelling], grabbles and captain ball. i totally suck at foos-ball. haha. i kept shooting into MY GOALPOST! like what i told sam, i want to go buy myself one and practice at home. then one fine day, i'll play with them and TADA! i've turned pro. or else i will just built one. but these are just wistful thinking.
captain ball was scary at first. especially with my injured wrist. i made many mistakes such as running with the ball, etc etc but it became more fun as time passes. poor Matthew sprained his ankle again. take care of that ankle, LB. [haha! sam ask me to call u that! =P]
yup, overall, i had a eventful and pleasant day. too bad i can't go for Friday's "!JTBHJ" event. as expected, my dad didn't allow so.. boohoo.
i find this very amazing. he can dance salsa with a leg. WOW

JITTERBUG TODAY WAS FUN!
well, lets start with something light. like.... OMG! today i saw the ultimate cutie! hahahha. he was my salsa partner for some rounds like for casino rueda and bachata. he was like so gentle! haha. how sweet. and he has a nice bod. well, that's besides the point but...yeahh.. i think he is a beginner too. was about to ask him if he wants to join me and Jade in DansFlava since we need MORE guys due to the pitiful number of male salsa dancers. but boo. didn't talk to him cuz he was with his friends most of the time. and they are kinda weird. so yeah, didn't have a chance to.
ANY-O-HOW, moving on... as some of u guys out there know, today is like an open house of Jitterbugs. it is for their 4th anniversary, if i'm not wrong. so all we had to do was to pay $10 for the whole day and we can go for any classes. its just a one hour trial classes to introduce us to many genres of dances.
for me, i went to Stretch intensive, Dual Power, Grrl power, Ladies Salsa Styling, Bachata, Casino Rueda and Tap.
for stretch intensive, we had a 1 hour visit to hell. it was REALLY HORRIBLE! as in it was too hard! we almost died in there. haha. only Firdaus and Rabiah went to hip hop. but it was good in a way that it really stretches those muscles which i think lasted me for about half the day. haha. the most funny thing about it was when we had lay on our back and lift our hips to the ceiling as far as we can go. it was alright until Jessica instructed to lift one leg up towards the ceiling. there was it, my bum happily kissed the floor and stayed there. Julian was beside me and he whispered, "Germaine! get ur butt off the floor!! UP UP!" and i had to say, "I CAN'T!! JELLY LEGS!" hahahahahahha. we were laughing this off during dinner. there were more funny things but i'll just leave it unsaid here.
Dual power was not bad. Samantha was DAMN GOOD. i love the way she dance. it was very fun too. basically, dual power is like hip hop in twos. we danced to "hate that i love u- rihanna". i love the part when Awi said something about ending the dance with a ripple with ur partner and go "ahhhh.." haha.
next would be Grrl Power. its actually Girl power. Hip Hop moves are based on the more open style of the Hip-Hop you see in music videos featuring Pink, J'Lo and Janet Jackson. but showing more of girls being more powerful than how people portray girls to be in the past. like flicking of hair, sexy yet strong moves. that kinda things. i had fun here.
we went for an hour lunch break before me and Allison joined the ladies salsa styling. the moves are all very basic which i have learnt in Jason's class but with more styling. pretty fun to learn something new. yup. i even learnt the side step cha cha cha. haha. Linna was teaching in that class and i enjoy it. (: OH! she is a pole dancer and she is HOT, man. i caught a glimpse of her doing pole-licious and omg, if u think pole dancing is just some seductive dance, its more like a extreme sport. u have to be damn flexible and fit to climb and go round and round, up and down those poles.
i wanted to go for the Belly dancing but TOO TIRED. =(
intended to go to Charleston but went for Bachata instead. bachata is quite fun too! i found a video in youtube. not bad. more to the simple kind of Bachata but just as good. shall post it later.
Casino Rueda is the most enjoyable class i took today. its also salsa but in a circle. so we have cute moves like yoghurt, freeze, photo and etc etc. yoghurt is when u and ur partner jump towards each other but not too close to have a chest bump, freeze is when u do a stomp inward the circle, freeze, shake ur upper torso with ur partner, stomp again and come back up to do basics. photo is when u freeze like u are posing for a photo for like 5 counts then back to basic with the girls doing guys basic. it has been so fun. ESPECIALLY when the guys have to change partner. like when the instructor said "DUMMY!"[i think its called dummy. cuz that's what i have been hearing. haha.] BUT, after some research, i found out that its actually called "Dame otra". it gets more fun when instructions like "Dame dos" or "Dame tres" is given. "dame dos" --> guy skip a girl and go to the next "dame tres" --> guy skip 2 girls and go to the 3rd. so it gets so complicated and its really tiring for the guys. they have to run for their lives to keep up with the music while changing partners. haha. lucky for us girls, we just have to do the basics. there are fun things like Cucaracha too. haha.
okay! i'm off to watch more dance vids and my "it started with a kiss 1" buhbyeeee

omg, my mum did a home facial for me just now. i cried like mad. it has been a long long time since i last cried like a kid. it was hella painful, i tell u. grrrrrr. i HATE facials. now there are red scars on my face. :(
11pm ice cream craving followed by a cupful of chocolate and peach delight. oooooohhh, say hello to Sinville. *slurps!* gotta go work out tmr after all!
my dad and cousin are going to the IT fair this thursday so i will be tagging along to see if there is any delicious bargins on DSLR camera. i sure hope so. oh God, please by miracle have my dad buy me one this coming thursday. please please, pretty please.
oh! which reminds me. i will be going back to church soon. intended to go to sam's church last sunday but it is the church's anniversary so i'll be going this coming sunday then. i heard her friends are friendly so i guess i will have no problem with the company there. especially since sam will be there.
