MORNING! just came back from ambrose's place.

gosh, last night was seriously rocking.

thankfully, jess and hazel went last night and we did a little people watching before hitting the dance floor. there was a couple, the girl's name is Vivian and her boyfriend is timothy. they were clad in branded clothes that clearly scream "i'm rich!" if u look at them, u'll think they're just some stuck up brats but, SURPRISE SURPRISE! they are rather friendly. so jess, hazel and i made friends with them. Vivian's from CHIF TP and timothy is from acs (i). anyway, the 4 of us girls (tim went to join his friends) started chit chatting. Vivian's super hilarious. she shot clever witty jokes which will get u laughing for life. haha.

at around 3 plus, we started dancing. honestly, i have no idea where i get the energy to move around. i was DEAD TIRED! we danced till 6 plus. played some games, drank a little and at around 8 plus, people started clearing out of Ambrose's house. didn't manage to make it home so stayed over at Ambrose's place. erm, no, not becuz i drank a lot, i only have about 5 sips? just very tired that i fell asleep on the sofa. his parents gave me the couch bed cuz i was deadpanned on not sleeping in either Ambrose's room or his brother's room. today morning woke up with a slight headache but thank goodness it cleared soon after i wash up.

ANYWAY, back track!

went to meet bibi at bedok mrt station at about 5.45pm but was so late. heh. oh oh! NEWS FLASH! miss tan was with her boyfriend and bibi saw them! hahaha. chat with miss tan about him in msn just now and she was so shy about it! hahaha. our dear ex coach is attached! wahaha! i could have saw them too! but i was at the OTHER END OF THE STATION so i totally missed out everything! oh, BOO HOO! haha. but not to fear, bibi was so excited she kept babbling about it so yeah, basically, i got most of the picture. haha.

didn't see bibi so long so there was a lot to catch up on and we yakked in the train like there's no tmr. haha. finally reached the 7-11 in city link and met up with the badminton boys and shaline. ohoh! we went to kenny rogers to eat and guess how long we had to wait? a whole 50 MINS! close to an hour lo! the place was so packed. finally we got in and the food is MMM HMM! YUMMY! u should try the rib bone when u dine there. damn nice.

the guys went to the arcade to play. bibi and i went to mango to browse through. we went to a small store to try on sun glasses and the kind uncle gave us tickets to see a gig at the fountain. florence came. =) we headed for the fountain. the lead singer sings damn nice! when he sang ""where ever u will be" by The Calling and he sounded EXACTLY like the actual singer! deep, sexy voice and everything. gosh. then an old man started dancing and he's so cute! haha. in a funny way la. ppl started shifting their video cameras and focus on the old man. haha. hilarious. met up with cynthia. went back to the arcade and all along cynthia was gaying with me la! hahaha. so funny. everything to her is so gay. what the heck. haha. then saw WING TONG! haha. so long didn't see him le. he just came out of NS so was much more darker than his usual dark self.

jade came when we were on the way to explanade.

GOSH! there's so much to say! haha.

when we reached marina, somewhere near The Oriental and The Pan Pacific, the place was already jam-packed! we had fun while trying to move along in the crowd. florence, cynthia and i kept singing "We are the reason". yay! like what bibi said, i finally found someone who can sing english songs with me! =) haha. everytime sing with bibi must be chinese de. so cheena! bleah! XP haha. went past DXO and finally made it near the river. could see Fullerton Hotel from there. gosh, it was like a sauna. so hot! and i felt like a human sandwich! haha. thank god for the badminton boys. they were our bodyguard. haha. the firework was spectacular but would be better if there isn't any trees covering our sight field. sigh.. but the atmosphere was great. everyone was in a party mood. what i super dislike last night was that some people sprayed that artificial snow on everyone and its just choking! shaline had a slight breathing difficulty cuz of these. Cynthia most poor thing la! haha. she was the one suffocating the most.

saw many friends last night! Jann, Carolyn, Malak, Stanley, Melissa, Sharon, kenny and a few of my tuition friends. didn't get to say hi to them cuz it was so crowded! sorry sorry! but managed to sms them a little.=)

we took lots of photo last night! haha. in the end, we split into 2 groups. one going to kallang to slack and the other taking mrt to go home. so i went off with ho fung, xun nan and CK. the trip to the mrt station was equally packed with the human population. had to link hands with ho fung so that i would get lost. so scary! anyway, made it to ambrose's house in one piece. so cheers! HAPPY NEW YEAR PEEPS!

i'm scared.

what will the U.S be like?

what if things get bad there? i'm getting all paranoid here.

there's so much to leave behind right now.

friends and personal stuffs.

memories i have to leave behind to start afresh in a foreign country.

i wish time will freeze and i can sit in a spinning teacup forever and watch things pass me by.

went to church today and really got closer to God. i'm glad. =)

tonight gona celebrate new years eve with my teammates and some friends.

most prob would be heading down to Ambrose's house for a party afterwards.

know what? I'm gona put aside the past and start looking forward to 2007.

i'm sure God has a plan mapped out for me already and of cuz some task He had put aside for me. i'll do my best to accomplish these. one of which, i'm very sure, is for me to reach out to the others who does not know Christ, the Lord.

mmm. Trying to maintain a web page is a lot worse than trying to make sure your pet fish don't die of fright, old age, or starvation. [My last pet fish died of fright.] And I thought it was as easy as blinking. oh well, guess i was wrong. my bad.

i'm kinda bored. mmm. i think i'll go hit my books again. *push up spects studiously* darn. i'm becoming such a bookworm lately. i think i'm obsessive compulsive about books.
i don't stop reading until i finish something,
at least a few chapters.
then i drag on till it becomes the whole book.
its just the trill of it, i guess.
the suspense of the ending just kills me.

missed out Brenda today. she went for the 10am service and its like a once in a lifetime kinda thing. so yeah. missed her man. there's so much to catch up with her. but bummer. i was sitting with the young adults at the front, right behind pastor Tay and pastor Mark. she, on the other hand, was sitting at the far corner in the back. didn't see her in Gideon hall too. sad sad. oh well.

Tennis was really quite crappy. I was like utterly humiliated. Heh. I played badly.
Anyhow, we're going to play again tmr and this time, Remus will 'coach' me. HAHA. (x
So I reckon there's going to be pretty much of a crowd at Justin's place tmr.
Justin, pooty-faced, hazel, kenny and I will be playing tennis.
michelle, Jessica and a few others will be swimming.
oh! beatrice will be coming too! =) whee!

this boy makes me smile =) baby Bryan!

went to Changi General Hospital with jess at a quarter to five for her check up.
there was a lady with a small, red-faced baby on her denim lap and she was weary-looking. the baby cried non-stop, the tormented tears of teething that could reach ear-shattering decibel levels. poor baby. i pity the mom too. she shot apologetic looks at the people around as the baby launched into another miserable aria. but our dear jess could calm the baby. she has such a infectious grin. it was something to do with the combination of her wide, smiling mouth with her lively chocolate-brown eyes that sparkled beneath that fringe of hers. =) yup, but bottom line is that her check up shows better results. i'm so happy for her,man. jess, take care of ur health ok? please don't end up in the hospital again.

met up with josh and kenny for dinner. the four of us went to east coast to eat in the hawker center beside the lagoon. yum yum! had a really fun time with them. too bad josh is going overseas tmr. =(

went to bedok NTUC to get some stuffs for hazel. oh! when we rounded the frozen food corner, we went bang into lyn =) so happy to see her! she's a cook of professional standard for a 16 years old. seriously! u should try her cooking. definitely 2 thumbs up! haha. she was wielding a loaded trolley. if her trolley could speak, it would say,"I'm going to hold a feast tonight." haha. and indeed! she's cooking up a feast for her relatives tmr night. got some kinda gathering of some sort. so we helped her load the things into her dad's car.

OH! HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE in advance people! may it be a even better start for all of u out there! =)

now tomoko is fining me whenever i start thinking about him or about boxes again. haha. now i owe her seven bucks in total. oh bummer, i'm so broke. haha
TOMOKO! i want to go to ur house and raid ur closet! hahaha! and my mum asking me the whereabout of my grad night dress, so u have to return it soon yeah? =) hey! i want to see the photos of ur U.S trip and the wedding! haha. and i'm so touched! u put aside ur exhaustion to do my present. *sob* haha. go and rest la.

watched "save the last dance 2" just now. ok, the dancing wasn't really very "wow!" kind but there's a lesson to be learned in there.
like, maybe u might be striving for something all ur life but what if it isn't really what u really want? but rather what someone else wants u to be? ever thought of it? what if u, inwardly, have a burning passion or desire to do something else but aren't doing it? maybe out of fear? or just to please someone else. if u are, darling, stop doing what u don't like and pursue what u really want. why live life the way others want u to live? its ur life we're talking about.
ok, i'll use the movie as an example. sara (leading actress) wants to be a ballerina, but her dreams were cut short by the sudden death of her mother. she continues to pursue the title of the best ballerina as she felt she owed it to her mom. she was transferred to a new school - a dancing school. her life takes a turn for the better when she met this guy named Miles whom she fell for. Miles made her see things more clearly. yes, sara loves ballet but that has many strings attached. sacrifices are to be made. may it be love, family and hip hop. she was supposed to be a girl who does wicked hip hop dances but well, to me, its just alright. anyway, there is also the pressure of her teacher who wants to make her well known. sara realised that being the world's best ballerina does not have space for her to fit in these loves of hers. so, yeah. if u're like her in a way or another, do think again. =)

Flaws:
-I complain too much. I even complain about myself complaining too much.
-Let's not even begin to describe how emo I can get.
-When I'm angry or frustrated, I can hurt those I love most. sorry.
-My laziness can be worse than. well, they just real bad. -period-

part of my new year's resolution is:

Change it all. It being me. Be more positive. Think positive.

Be content with life. Hey sometimes it sucks, live with it. Cuz it sucks for the rest of the world at times too. esp for ppl in the 3rd world country.

be strong. Don't give up hope. No tunnel is too long and dark. Friends and family are always around with torches.

Yes, their lights will guide me home.

I'm serious. It hurts real bad. My bum, I mean. Let's see. I went ice-skating, first time in my entire life, I fell on my butt like 5-6 times. Oh well. It still hurts when i sit down.

So the lesson, or LESSONS, to learn from today is: Make sure you've got a tough butt and steel ankle guards when you want to pick up ice-skating. And don't have bad sitting habits: leaning, slouching, lying, lazing and dying. i've got to start sitting upright.

And ONE MORE THING. The Holiday is a good movie to watch before the year ends. So, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! Or what's left of it.

oh, i don't exactly have a "Hot actors" list but if i were to have one, Josh Harnett is forever at the top. then there's Channing Tanner and Drake Bell. oh, i heard his solo acrostic performance in MTV a few days back and i gotta admit, he's not bad. might be getting his album any time soon.
erm no, i don't actually fantasize them or anything. just think they are cute/hot and move on with my life. i don't have any star obsession, thank God.

I know not many people are gonna read this, but those who do, hear me out.
Ever wondered how society is gonna function if all the foreign workers were one day retrenched from their jobs? Yup, that means no more cleaners, roadsweepers, construction workers, agricultural workers, domestic helpers and other sectors that I have missed out. Take for example, Singapore, since I live here, I can give a better scenario. Bloody Singaporeans who think the whole world owes you a living, imagine one day all the cleaners and roadsweepers are gone, and then there's your "couldn't-care-less" attitude towards everything, from public cleanliness to your own behavior and manners. Let's see. First of all, the whole island is gonna be filled with your filthy trash lying all around because of your "oh-not-my-house-so-not-my-problem" attitude. And it's gonna remain like that because of your "couldn't-care-less" attitude and the absence of foreign workers to clean after you. Just imagine. Singapore's gonna be a slum country instead of the "Flower City" that foreigners like to call us. We'll be an island version of Smokey mountain of Manila. Kinda sad, huh? [Oh for those who have been dutifully disposing of your own rubbish and being aware of public cleanliness, this whole "lecture" wasn't directed to you. =)]

yeah man!

finally manage to get into blogger.

ooooohhh... there's so much to say.

on wed, i went for my hotel interview alright. these are the hotel i went to are fullerton, raffles, regent, ritz-carlton and traders. i got in an interview for regent. wen hsin and i had to wait for quite some time for the HR person to come interview me. so bored in the room and wen hsin kept saying he wants to play lans. so anyway, here's what i need to do if i am short listed.

1) tie my hair into a bun
2) clip up fringe
3) black high heels that is at least 2 inch tall.
4) make up
5) no big ear rings or necklaces
6) short and neat nails without any nail polish
7) injection

yup. the dressing is kinda strict there. but i totally dislike the part when i have to bun up my hair and clip up my fringe. also, MAKE UP! noo... injection, double NOO!

but.. my pay would be $5.50 per hour from mon-fri. $6 per hour from fri 4pm- sun. there will be transport provided if i am working in the wee hours of the morning or very late at night. mmm. what else? guess that's all? i'm not very keen on regent thou. seems not interesting.

but heh heh. Raffles hotel. that's what i'm rooting for. due to my age, i'm barred from some restaurants that involves alcohol. so that limits me to only 3 restaurants. one of which is a very western kind. the dressing is very fun and bubbly. its a red and white checked pants with a white blouse. there is this thing that i think is call retainers and its red in colour. yup. the second is a more asian kind which sells local delicacies such as chicken rice which i heard, is 16 dollars per plate. haha. the price is just a horror. but hey, i heard there's something special to it too yeah? haha. the dressing? sarong and a white blouse. but i don't think i want to do there. mmm. the last is just a buffet. i'll just need to replenish the food. pay is about $1127 per month and there's a 3 month contract to it.

after that, wen hsin went home cuz he has a dinner date with his family and i went off to meet bernice and her friend Stefanie. they brought me to fullerton hotel and i just had to fill in a form and wait for them to call me for an interview. i tried to take some photos of the two girls and they kept running away!

we went through explanade to get out of the rain and we passed by a group of people. i thought they are caroling at first but after seeing their instruments, maybe not.

oh oh! went to robin's party with su. wasn't really rocking or anything but oh well, i made 2 new friends that night! haha. they are tiffany and kimberly. both are from MGS. haha. tiffany and i asked each other what cca we are in like 3 times? haha. we kept forgetting. but now, i remember, tiff is in cross country and kim's in cheer leading. kim look quite like barbie. really! even su agreed! she came into the room all serious and kinda shy. could see she felt kinda awkward at first. but i can't blame her. when me and su went into the room, we felt damn out of place. we barely know anyone there, due to the fact that robin invited people from different tuitions and, of cuz, some people from SJI. i only noticed kim when she got so excited over playing tennis. haha. apparently, she has a bf from acs br and she calls him dude. his name is ian, actually. robin said that ian would be muscular but ian is rather thin. kim even told us his trunk size. haha. such a cute couple. ian calls kim doofus and kim calls ian dude. haha. oh, kim has this english accent cuz she went to england for 3 or 4 years which makes her stand out more. she's rich man. she was carrying a guess handbag and was wearing a roxy bikini inside her blouse which i reckon, is branded too.

oh! haha. su! i remembered robin saying another guy friend of his being muscular. the big chest guy. over rated man.

anyway, we had fun. after playing a little tennis, the four of us wanted to dance but since no one else was, we went downstairs but in the end, we settled down and chit chat instead.

ohoh, su was really strong man. haha. she hit the tennis ball out of the fence. haha. hilarious. it ended up in another person's property.

so on that night, i know 6 girls and 3 guys. well, not really personally. just got talk to them. they are kim, tiff, leeza (hwa chong, table tennis), i can't remember the names of 3 girls but they are all from cedar girls and are from tennis, basketball and band. mmm. the guys are ian(acs br), Matthew(the guy who su and i thought was edwin), edwin (SJI).

today met TOMOKO in parkway! HAPPY HAPPY!!!! X) haha. she told me so much about USA. still don't feel like migrating though. oh oh! but she got me this victoria secrets' gift card! HAPPY HAPPY!

oh, i saw my ex's ex today. i think she moved on, held hands with someone else. happy for her. =)
