Dance assessment is tmr!! OMGOSH. let's just hope i don't screw up or anything.
my piroutte turns are like shit now. seriously. during yesterday's practise, i can't do a single perfect or anything-near-ok piroutte turns. My Jazz walk, left battement kicks, turns are all like shit, i was spinning EVERYWHERE and didn't have any CG. almost felt like crying cuz the feeling sucks BIG TIME. i'm not saying i'm a great dancer but the feeling of not being able to dance the way i used to dance is really shitified. i've worked hard on those movements and i felt really happy when i see the improved results but now i'm back to square one. i even felt that my Girls' Styling is getting not as good as before. UGH.
however, my dance peeps cheered me up. Esp Sarah. felt really loved then. (: THANKS A LOT! Josh came in to teach us 2 new choeros and tried to polish some of our steps with us. the first choero is a Jazz with a little funk touch to it. song used was "Hit me up" and the second choero is a hip hop choero which used "Like a boy- Ciara"
at the MRT station, i hugged everyone goodbye. funny thing was that they didn't have time to board the train! haha! the doors were like, closed in on them. i gave Zelia a green balloon and Jessalyn a orange balloon yesterday. HAH! Zelia put it under her blouse and pretended to be pregnant. HAHA! crap lo, that girl. trust Zelia to come up with all these funny antics. boarded the train with Konrad and that kind boy sat the train all the way to Kallang with me instead of his usual route of train-ing to Toa Payoh and bus-ing down to Kallang. (:
while waiting for the train in City Hall, both of us did some ballroom movements! coolness! but it wasn't soo obvious la! haha. can just imagine passers-by staring at us.
today was not bad. went to meet K.r to practice outside the student affairs office. waited for vanessa and 3 of us went to SBM block to find Yan Yan. Yan Yan brought us to a tutorial room and we pushed back all the chairs and tables to create more space. did Jazz choero and i was glad cuz this time, my steps are much better. x) Nicholas came shortly and we were dancing halfway when the secruity guard came in to lock the room- at 2pm! what a weird time! anyway, the secruity guard was friendly and he chatted with us a little.
Nicholas dropped his handphone when he was waving to his friends. guess what? this phone slipped out of his hand and the LCD lense broke - on the inside. poor boy. hope he isn't very sad over it.
we managed to book a room in Block E with the help of Liyi (: Hui Fang, Jessalynne, Rachel and Firdaus came after awhile. all of us practiced. had great fun!
