oh man, i'm still so lethargic! =( Snoooooooorrrrreeee.
SA camp was fun but i was kinda expecting more. still, i want to thank our great seniors for putting in so so so so much effort for us. (: they took turns to stay up late to "patrol" us while we were in lala land, squeezed out brain juice to make the camp fun and interesting for us, taking very very good care of us. esp Joys-lyn [i don't know who to spell her name =X] as she were our first aid lady. xD
just a run through for what happened these 3 days.
Day1 :
rush off after clinical to Block E Level 3 to assemble with the rest of my dance and drama peeps. settle down and were assigned to our little groups. i wasn't with Aisha or the people who i was close to! but my group members weren't that bad, after all! (: arranged our bags in the room. we then had to think of our group's name and cheer. finally our hungry tummies received some food around 8ish pm. played some games and went to bath. after the whole day with only a bath in the morning, FINALLY CAN BATH! YAY! Lol.
Day 2 :
wake up at around 4.40am to get ready to report at 6am. soooo tired. =( had to run 2 rounds around the school's stadium. actually, it was nothing much compared to what me and my badminton mates have gone through so it wasn't much of a torture. when the sun began to rise, there were this AWESOME sky above us! it was all ORANGE-Y AND BLUE-Y! i wanted to take a photo of it but didn't have my handphone with me. bummer. there were field activities. 1) we have to crawl under the raffia strings, run to a bucket to take a slice of apple out of it with our mouth. SO DIFFICULT! the water were like "drowning" me. the drama seniors were using water gun to shoot at us throughout the game. i remembered Iskandar kept shooting at me and saying "drinking apple juice is it? hurry hurry! need me to give u bubbletea straw?!" what the! HAHA! but it was fun and we ended up super dirty. 2) we have to walk and quack like a duck and run to 2 make up seniors. they will pass us a pole and we have to go around it for 3times and dance for them. when they say can,we have to run back and the next person will go.3) Wawa is the monster and when she says she wants 5 pairs of feet, 2 elbows and 6 noses for dinner, we have to get those body parts on the ground. we ended up in weird positions. it was like playing "twisters". HAHA!4)Rabiah [Rub twice] and another seniors were there. we have to form alphabets with our bodies. so we were sometimes laying on the grass. dirrrty...5) we had to tangle up and get untangled while walking to a point.at the end of the game, Firdaus's group tangled themselves up with my group and tried to untangle while walking to station one. HAHA! funny us.
on this day, we were introduce to all 4 departments of Stage Art. my group, Amin's and Syakira's group went for dance first. at first it was all warm up and stretching. not as hell-ish as what our actual training was. did across the room routes. Finally we were taught a new choreo. Dear Shaheera and Zul helped us with the steps. YAYness for them! (: we played a game in the end of the session. every group has to appoint a leader and a changer. so the seniors will give the leader a piece of paper with a scene he/she has to act. i remember a VERY funny scene. this is the last scene and the seniors chose the people. people chosen were Amin, Vanessa, Le Kai, Syakira and me. Amin was the leader so he had to start first. he pretend to take off his shirt and after that, fell flat on the ground, body spread out. we don't know what he was doing and didn't know how to carry on. so vanessa ran to him as though she's very sad; i ran to him and pound on his chest and cry; Le kai went to do CPR for him. AND GUESS WHAT WAS THE SCENE? BEACH! what the pong??!?!?!!?!?!!!!! haha! crappy lo!anyway, moving on..
We had lunch and headed for the make up. we had to "paint" a group member's face. i did Wen Kai's while Eileen did Ryan's. i'll show u the photo when i get them. haha. Wen Kai look like some Chinese ghost/God. ROFL. all of us played Murderer at the end of the session since there were still some more time left. after which, we went to assemble for dinner.DRAMA SESSION WAS THE BEST! at first we played this game whereby Aisha took a toy gun and "shoot" us. we have to make it as real as possible and run away from her. we have to image the impact of the bullet to "die" from it. Aisha was so scary when she went around chasing people! for the first try, i was the last to die. YAY! saviour!!! haha. so in the end, Aisha was chasing me around in the room. and i was "shot". i think i sort of jump a little and fell BOOM on my back. luckily, nothing was hurt. we had to control our breathing as we were "dead" and dead people's chest don't heave up and down. it was really hard as we were still panting from all the running. the background sound were just heart beats and it matches my pounding heart. it really felt as though the game was the real thing!after that, we played a game of being the host. it was really hilarious! syakira and i paired up and out of no where, Iskandar and us were talking about nippies. WHAT THE PONG! haha! there were funny things like, living under coconut trees, bosom enhancement, Aisha being horny, etc.
the Seniors were all aiming at Aisha! hahaha! really cracks me up. we had to do a small skit at the end of the session. i think that was the only time i was not having stage fright at all! not a teeny weeny bit. sadly, Aisha was not there to witness this once in the life time thing. our skit was about this lady who went to the market to buy her groceries and bought a magic pot from a store. while washing the pot, a ghost came out of the pot and gave the lady a wish. the lady wished to be the richest woman ever. wish was granted but he had to take something dear from her. he took her daughter's life in the end. i was the daughter so when he was "absorbing" my soul, i was crying out loud like as if i was really suffering! haha. a drama girl from the other group complemented on my acting as i was really into the character! HAPPY!my group members' roles were:Syakira - the woman who sold the potDitch - the lady/my motherIlham - the ghoststephanie, Ling Hui - other store sellerme and Vanessa - shoppersassembled for dinner and our grand 'SEANCE NIGHT' was being held in the Dome. the place and the atmosphere were creepy. like some kinda belated Halloween party. all the groups put up their small skits and the seniors led many fun cheers. (: we were still very high and hyper after the event that some of us rushed to the stage and danced. WHOOHOO!!
we started our night walk around 12 am. i was in group2 so we were off rather early. the seniors acted like some ghost to scare us. i was super scared at first cuz K.r told us ghost story of NYP and i got so freaked out. Jessalynne was kinda scared so she backed out of the night walk. when we reached Firdaus and Daphne's station, i felt very secured. haha. don't know why. we were supposed to feel scared but oh well. (: i only got a little freaked out at the 3rd station. dance seniors Priscilla, Sherry, Jing Wei and Rabiah [Rub once] were there. stupid Jing Wei went to "fire" the toy machine gun! oh, but before that, while we were going to the 3rd station, we passed by the theater of Arts and we saw some people being tied with a piece of masking tape across their mouth. we thought it was the white witch Rabiah [rub twice] was telling us about! so we thought that those were the people who were captured by her! then it turned out that it was just the Ambassadors playing some games. Aisha, Farhana, Shida and Sara held us back with all their acting. Old Chunky ran up to us and screamed at us. we girls screamed too. it wasn't him who was scary. was just that his screams are HORRIBLY SCARY!!! a pro since he is from drama too. haha. for Fauzy's station, he just lay there on the track and didn't move. he was wearing black so we almost walked over him. HAHA! finally the night walk has ended and we had to wait for all the ten groups to arrive. the first few groups slept on the hard ground as we were dead tired. when we finally went back to Block E, it was 3 plus plus am. DAMN tired. syakira, sarah and i fell asleep while waiting in our queue for the shower. ZzZz. sooo tired. when we get back, most of the campers had already slept - bathed and stinko ones. poor Shikin didn't have any pillow or sleeping bag. she only had a tee shirt on her face and was looking very cold so i covered her with my sleeping bag. Sarah, Syakira and i went to the stage to accompany Theadora as she wasn't feeling very well. end up sleeping there with Eeyore in my arms. x)
Day 3 :woke up with blue blacks almost everywhere. bum, arm, back, legs. the result of sleeping on hard and uneven surface for 2 nights. luckily,we can wake up at 8am. walking zombies staggered to the toilet to freshen up. played captain ball in the stadium. not a very wise choice of game venue as the morning sun was turning the place into an oven. somehow or rather, my group got 1st place! WHOOHOOO! compete against drama seniors [Old Chunky, Iskandar, Fauzy, Firdaus and shang ge.] could have won. for the last round, Ryan threw the ball to me and i scored to Wen Kai but Ryan lifted up his leg so the point went to the seniors. was a really close fight but seniors too strong so match was 3-2. game won by seniors. oh well,it was just a game. for the fun and not entirely on be the winning team. HAHA! (:we had the last concert. Danz Inc seniors did a little "locking" item. Drama Seniors did a small skit of the camp and it was really hilarious!took a few photos with some of the seniors like Shaheera, Diyanna, Old Chanky, Jing Wei, blablabla. went out of school with Yan Yan and some Dance Seniors. poor Drama seniors had to stayback to clean up the place. for some reasons, yan yan and i bid goodbye to the seniors and went somewhere. finally took the train home. i manage to get a seat in the train but when i had to change train at City Hall, my luck changed. i was dozing off while remain standing. my knees
kept going weak but luckily caught myself in time or else i'll end up on the floor. Finally, a saw an empty seat and fell asleep. missed my Bedok stop! ended up in Tampines! my gosh. had to take train back to Bedok. while waiting for bus 222, i fell asleep again and almost missed the bus! luckily i woke up just in time to run to the bus or else i'll have to wait for another 20 mins or so for the next one. Blahhh. FINALLY home sweet home (:i love Sexy Spells's cheer. if i'm not wrong, Nicholas, Regina and Kaye were in there.
