ahhhh... i feel so shagged now.
after school, me and regina went to the ballroom to practice our girls' styling. some of the seniors were there and they were doing ballroom. I DANCED A LITTLE SALSHA! so fun! hahaha. my partner was Brian so i owed it to him or else i will not know any basic moves at all! YAY, BRIAN! i still have not get my dipping right.
it kinda feels weird to have sudden close body contact with someone. cuz like, for ballroom, the partners have to stand close and its usually the men who will lead the ladies. Also, eye contact is needed at times. like what Konrad said, after being in a boys' school for 4 years, ballroom helped him to interact with girls. HAHA. but nevertheless, i'm really interested in ballroom cuz... well, its interesting! ROFL.
Wei Jing taught us the guy's milking. me and Regina got some of the steps. i think Reg knows more than me, she better. haha. but it was fun cuz we get to do some 'popping' and 'waves'.
for yesterday's dance practise, Peter said our learning curve has to be steeper. so we learnt "get it out me- Janet Jackson" and the 3rd indian-like song in the whole lesson. so it was kinda frustrating when we didn't get the step right. Jessalynne and i feel so uneasy when we have nailed the steps yet. UGH. so a group of us decided to go practice more often.
but yay! i can remember the steps now! next up, NAIL IT.
tmr is a public holiday so me, Nicholas, Khai, Amin, Jessalynne and Kenny are going back to school to practice. if school is closed, then we'll go explanade or somewhere. can't wait! haha!

P.S. hey dance peeps! i know its all but a rush for us and there are quite a lot of pressure on us cuz we have to learn things fast and we have that assessment in July. or is it June. but whatever it is, MUST JIA YOU OK!!!!!!!! (: we can do well! as long as we work hard together!
OHHHH, i love Stage Arts! camp is NEXT FRIDAY! can't wait! NEXT WEEK NEXT WEEK, COME QUICK QUICK!
