"Of all the things I've experienced, honestly a breakup is really hard to get through. I can say I know what it feels like. It isn't as simple as what Jennifer Aniston & Vince Vaughn went through, but more probably like what Aniston & Pitt went through. Well at least, I'm sure this huge bit was kept well hidden from the tabloids (I mean they're not even interested in how the actors feel, right?)
Imagine trusting someone with every thing you ever knew: ambitions & dreams, hurts & failures, fears, insecurities, loves & joys & even your secrets. As in all relationships, over time trust becomes so intense, two people who were once strangers share everything with one another. Calls at night, dates, lunches, dinners.. you name it, they've probably done it. Why? Cos' they want to spend every single moment with one another.
Now some people say young love is stupid and meaningless. I think regardless of age, love can happen. If two people trust each other with so much of themselves, it really forms a bond beyond any best-friend friendship. We have lack of experience, are reckless in behaviour, and are immature? I say, "Grow up damnit". Some of our parents got married young, heck my parents got married at around 21. And yes, I'm 17 going on 18, which means they got me much later.
It doesn't matter what age you are, of course if you're 12 or 13.. bleagh, but nonetheless I believe love is possible. And thus, when two people love each other so much, things get complicated. And when love isn't possible, how do the two say goodbye?
That's what hurts. It stings like an open wound because you suddenly don't have that person to trust so much anymore. Love aside, yes, remain friends, best of friends even, but it's not the same as being in love. Even friends keep secrets from one another (I know some spouses keep secrets from one another for 'personal space', but you get my point about sharing most of yourself).
It's hard to say goodbye to that bond & trust we shared. It's for the best, it's for the future. If only this world wasn't so twisted, if only no one cared. 'If only' remains to be a world where we could have been, what we could have become. You're leaving it behind, and I will too.
That world where there's eternal bliss; where water tastes sweet & the sun never sets. A world where creatures live in harmony, flowers bloom all year round, and the grass is always green. It's that place where He is, my Saviour. It's true, only He has love overflowing for each and every one of us. It's a place where we can all be together again, and I cannot wait for that day.
Last night was the second time I've cried in months. the first time, as some of you know, is for my first girl, yingyun, who i love dearly but she chose to leave because of a stupid, but serious mistake i made. it was hard giving her up as i felt that there's no one who i would rather be with than her. her open smiles, lovely laughters, caring personal and the memories of us still haunt me to this very day. though i tried to get her back for two years already, she must have moved on. what she don't know is that she has this magnet that just attracts me. she just draws me deeper. i'll never forget her. anyway, i have moved on to and i got together with another girl. this will be the last time I cry for a long time. There is no more need to be sensitive, I've changed, I've grown up. Things are different now and they'll keep on changing.
