today, i'm going to talk about this book i've recently read. i know i know. u're yawning now. but don't hate it till you try it. the title is "confessions of a series dater". its about many stuffs including some non-frictioal facts. in there it say " it is medically proven that a good sex life really help people to stay healthy. it relieve stress, boost self-esteem and makes them feel younger." yes, it is a love novel but a pornographic novel, it is not. however, too much sex can be an overkill. so its not wise to be a "sex-crazy" person. sex also burns many calories and it also helps to improve your blood circulation. no, i may not be a bio-student but i do have friends who take up bio. people such as bi zhen and cynthia. bibi would tell me bio stuffs so as to revise her work. at first i was grossed out but it took awhile for me to get used to it. hahas.
anyway, i also read that the tongue is the strongest muscle in a human's body. Gosh! who would have thought of that? bibi also told me that kissing burns a lot of calories too due to the nervousness people experience.
oh right! specking of calories. apparently banging your head against the wall burns 150 calories per hour! this is interesting but i can't help but wonder (a)why someone thought of this would be a good measurement to test it out (i mean how many people you know constently bang their head against the wall?) (b) how they actually persuaded anyone to volunteer for this and (c) if anyone has thought of measuring how many calories that burns. if you are trying to lost weight, please be sensible enough to take up jogging, swimming or other sports to burn those calories. if you bang your head against the wall, not only do you slim down, you'll get yourself into coma. hahas!
oh yah. here another fact. amongst their many other fine qualities, turtle can breathe through their asses, especially when facing death by asphyxiation.
fact #4 is that the human heart can pump enough pressure to squirt blood 30 feet! hahas.
and do you know that by being fluent in at least 2 languages can protect you from mental decline in old age? too bad my chinese isn't good. in fact, i think i'm suffering from memory lost right now. seriously! there was once i pinched junwei and looked away. about 5 seconds later, i look at the red mark and goes," jun wei, why your hand here red? someone pinched you ah?" serious man, i forgot just like that *snaps fingers*! sigh. i better type faster or i'll forget what i want to type. hahas.
fact #6 is that women blink twice as much as men. this reminds me of this morning. farhah and i stared at khairul and zaheer. it turned out that its true! by the time they blink, we've blinked twice. they haven't had a clue why we're staring at them. hahas.
fact #7 is that milk from young coconut could be used as a substitution for blood plasma.
fact #8 is that each of an ostrich's eyes is bigger than its brain. wow. that's like super small can?!
fact #9. it is believed that single women live longer than married women. so now it sort of makes sense for a bride to have second thoughts on her wedding day.... doesn't it?
